For some students, loans are not enough to cover all their living expenses whilst at a university or tertiary institution. Where this is the case other sources of funding are available, from the Australian Government. It is not uncommon for institutions to offer financial awards for academic or sporting excellence. You may also be eligible for extra financial support if you spend an academic year studying or working in a remote or regional area.
